Notice of changes in the provision of trust services

The Certification Centre of the State Enterprise Centre of Registers (hereinafter – the Certification Centre) informs that in accordance with the security requirements laid down in Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC, the issue of certificates using RSA 1024-bit and RSA 1536-bit keys and/or the SHA-1 hash algorithm will be stopped and the provision of the following qualified services by the Certification Centre and identified in the Trusted List (TSL) as specified in the table below will be ceased from 30 April 2018:

From 1 May 2018 onwards, the service of currently valid qualified electronic signature certificates, issued by providing the above services, will be performed by providing a new qualified service of the Certification Centre identified in the Trusted List (TSL) as “RCSC qualified seals and signatures certificates issuing authority”. Information about the status of certificates (validity or revocation) will be provided only by OCSP (download certificate).


This webpage contains official documents regulating the activities of the Certification Centre of the State Enterprise Centre of Registers (hereinafter – RCSC). According to the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and international standards, each provider of qualified certification and time-stamping services must be in possession of these documents.
